Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between EST and EDT?
EST (UTC−5) is Eastern Standard Time used in winter; EDT (UTC−4) is Eastern Daylight Time used in summer. This tool uses the 'America/New_York' zone, which switches automatically.
Does Arizona observe daylight saving time?
Most of Arizona does not, so it stays on Mountain Standard Time all year. Use the 'America/Phoenix' zone for Arizona.
